Job Summary
Work Shift
1 - First ShiftThe Specialist I - Dealer Marketing manages the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans for assigned dealer clients. These activities may include the creation of integrated, multi-tactic marketing campaigns, creating or customizing marketing collateral, leading implementation of digital strategies and tactics, among other responsibilities that help assigned dealers activate effective branding, marketing and sales activities in their regions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Demonstrate the Vermeer characteristics of caring culture, demonstrating agility, customer focused, and stewardship and model the associated behaviors.
2. Develop detailed marketing and communication plans for multiple dealership groups through collaboration with designated dealer leadership.
3. Coordinate marketing aspects of key initiatives to meet dealer needs while supporting corporate branding strategy. This includes, but is not limited to, creating and/or updating digital or printed collateral, managing website and/or social media presence, assisting with showroom remodels and facility updates, and supporting dealer tradeshow and event attendance. Tasks may also require working with supporting agencies and vendors where needed.
4. Manage dealer invoicing and time tracking with some responsibility for dealer marketing budget management.
5. Monitor and proactively engage key dealer leaders to help assess and evaluate marketing programs and processes to help maintain a value-adding relationship with assigned dealer clients.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Marketing, Design, Business and/or Communications.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in marketing or related field; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Other Skills and Abilities
- Ability to create and update a marketing plan.
- Ability to identify the appropriate tactics to meet dealer goals.
- Ability to prioritize projects and multiple tasks to meet deadlines, while maintaining positive interpersonal relationships which encourage openness.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of client or internal teams.
- Ability to write and edit market collateral.
- Ability to produce accurate, professional and error-free documents in a timely manner.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop and InDesign preferred.
- Demonstration of good oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of Vermeer equipment/product/markets and competitive landscape preferred.
Travel
Up to 25% domestic and/or international travel by car or plane may be required.
Work Location
