The Customer Experience Expediter II completes sales orders for parts with customer expectations in mind. This position identifies and resolves quality issues, prioritizes work flow, and solves problems related to branding/packaging strategies. This role demonstrates a sense of urgency in providing exceptional quality and timeliness of delivery to achieve a superior customer experience when representing Vermeer’s premium brand. The Customer Experience Expediter II may train new or less-experienced team members in sales order processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

1. Demonstrate the Vermeer characteristics of caring culture, demonstrating agility, customer focused, and stewardship and model the associated behaviors.

2. Work on sales orders for parts or other typical ‘customer experience’ assignments that require adept problem resolution with little or no supervision.

3. Ensure accuracy of all transactions including back orders through examining P.O.’s and investigating all aspects of the order to discover any and all discrepancies, missing or excess items, or any other issues that arise through the examination of the transaction.

4. Process purchase orders, transfer orders, receiving tickets and parts returns.  This includes picking, pulling and stocking/restocking orders.

5. Proficient use of various business systems (i.e. Glovia, SFDC Reports, Clipper Ship, etc.) to update, track, wave or issue information regarding inventory, bill of lading, shipping or receiving.

6. Build simple and complex parts kits with accuracy and quality in mind according to inventory demand and sometimes detailed kit specifications.

7. Safely operate assigned equipment upon receiving appropriate training, certification or licensing.  This involves unloading cargo from narrow containers, remote or outdoor storage locations and other business segments, and occasionally delivering emergency orders to destinations within reason.

Education and/or Experience

- High school diploma or GED required.

- Minimum of two years related experience and/or training.

- Previous manufacturing background preferred.

Other Skills and Abilities

- Read blueprints.

- Write routine reports and intra-department communications.

- Calculate figures and apply concepts of fractions, percentages and ratios.

- Effectively present information verbally and in writing and respond to questions from groups of managers and suppliers.

- Perform basic Microsoft Office skills, CAD and other software.

- Perform problem solving techniques and root cause analysis.

- Perform multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to assess, evaluate, and carry out appropriate action for a given situation.

Work Location

ONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
